CLUB HISTORY
The Cleburne County Shooting Club is a nonprofit organization that was created in August 2002 as a work in progress. We have progressed well beyond the expectations of the founders and core members of the local Friends of the NRA. We are blessed with members who have many years of experience in police/military range management and also have members certified as NRA firearm instructors.
Our club has over 500 members, many of whom have contributed dollars and sweat equity in the ongoing construction and improvements of the club facilities.
Please wear your current membership card while at the range. All members now have color coded membership cards (the current year is Yellow) that are in hang tags for easy wearability. Officers will be checking for current membership, so please do not be offended if you are asked for club ID. It is simply wrong for trespassers to use our facility without participating in the membership process. At best they get for free what everyone else pays for. At worst, in the past, we have had vandalism and disregard for range safety.
